Classroom Grant Program
The Oakland Schools Education Foundation is proud to launch our classroom grant program and we invite educators in Oakland County to submit proposals for programs and initiatives that promote innovation in student learning and education.
Grants for up to $500 will be awarded.
These grants are supported by our Oakland County Educator Appreciation program. Please encourage those you know to participate in November so that we are able to sustain and expand our classroom grants.
To optimize the grant application experience, we offer these suggestions:
1. Ensure your principal/school leadership is aware of and has approved your plans to apply for this grant.
2. Review the sample grant application.
3. Review our final report guidelines, making note of its requirements if your grant is selected for funding.
4. MOST IMPORTANT – Complete your grant application offline first. This will allow you to work at your own pace on the questions. A blank template of the grant application questions is provided here to get you started.
Applications Due: June 30, 2018
Grant Award Notification: August 1, 2018
Funds Available: August 30, 2018
Funds Must Be Used By: March 31, 2019
Final Report Due: June 1, 2019
